At this year’s Berlinale film festival, “This Ain’t California <http://www.thisaintcalifornia.de/>” by Marten Persiel gained special coverage. The unusual documentary, featuring skateboarders in the GDR, received the coveted prize “Dialogue En Perspective <http://www.berlinale.de/de/presse/pressemitteilungen/perspektive_deutsches_kino/pdk-presse-detail_14166.html>“. Films that have received this award in the past later found considerable attention in Germany. In the summer of 2012, the film will eventually be shown in all German cinemas.

“This Ain’t California” features various Budde Music titles. The contributions are by Alphaville (“Forever Young”, “Sounds Like A Melody”), Puhdys (“Wenn ein Mensch lebt”) and Johannes Tibursky (“Burning Soul”, “Vagabond,” “Slow”).

Budde Music congratulates all on the award and anticipates the further success of the movie in 2012!
